2009, what an odd yet great year!

So I am a copy cat and I wanted to do what Kristin did on her blog, because I think it was a good idea.

A Year in Review

What did you do in 2009 that you’ve never done before? Performed CPR on patient.

Did you keep your New Year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I did keep my New Year's reso last year (My reso was to not make any). For next year? I guess I could name some goals that I have: Trust in the Lord more, Not waste my life, learn to pick the guitar.

Did anyone close to you give birth? Nopers. Although my friend KP got pregnant!

Did anyone close to you die? My beloved Grandfather. Miss you Grandpa, Love you, and can't wait to see you again! (love #7)

What countries did you visit? I only went to different parts of the United States. Woohoo for traveling!

What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009? A degree, a nursing license, a Hyundai Genesis Coupe, a chiuhuahua! Okay enough with the things, more importantly what I want for 2010 is a closer more prayerfilled relationship with my Lord Jesus Christ.

What dates from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? March 1st 530pm when I found out my Grandpa had died; July 18, when I had the best birthday ever; December 29, when I found out Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan died; October 15, the most fun I've ever had with Ti and Kat at Ti's bachelorette party!

What’s your biggest achievement of the year? Putting new windshield wipers on my car!

What’s the best thing you bought? Tickets to see The Killers in concert!!

Whose behavior merited celebration? Probably my whole family because they are the most wonderful people in the world. I know I am especially loved by them and they do so much for me! (Especially Mommy and Daddy!)

Where did most of your money go? Food! And Concert Tickets!

What did you get really, really excited about? Being placed in Labor and Delivery for Leadership next term! (However, in the next 24 hours of finding that out I found out I was REALLY placed in Mother/Infant. Still cool but not as amazing!)

Compared to this time last year, are you happier or sadder? Richer or poorer? Thinner or fatter? Happier, Poorer, believe it or not, thinner (I mean you can't see it but my wieght is down 15lbs from last year! haha!)

What do you wish you’d done more of? Reading my Bible, Studying for school

What do you wish you’d done less of? Complaining, eating

How did you spend Christmas? With my wonderful family, making cookies and buckeys, making my brother-in-law an awesome ornament, eating a noche buena feast, reflecting on what this beautiful holiday really means to me!

Did you fall in love in 2009? Nope! :)

What was your favorite TV program? In 2009, Modern Family

What was the best book you read? My Sister's Keeper

What was your greatest musical discovery? Shawn Mcdonald, beautiful singer/songwriter, and Hello Love Chris Tomlin CD

What did you want and get? A massage!

What did you want and not get? The answer to why my entire body aches.

What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? 21, I first spent the early afternoon with my wonderful cousin Jeanette who took me to eats-n-treats to get vanilla ice cream and then we mixed in Nerds. She gave me a tshirt she drew an Icee on! Then I spent the evening with my brothers and sisters and ate sushi yum!

What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying: Hmmm...that's hard I think my year was pretty satisfying.

How would you describe your personal fashion concept for 2009? Be as comfortable as possible! Who cares what others think! Haha! I really like my Chuck Taylor's!

What kept you sane? Nothing, didn't you hear? I am officially insane!!!!!

Who did you miss? Grandpa, my most amazing friend Justin who just enlisted in the Navy and had to leave Ohio, Meghan when she wasn't home from school, Seeing Plain White T's and Snow Patrol in concert

Who was the best new person you met? Adam from Starbucks because he makes the best double tall nonfat caramel macchiatos in the world! haha!

A valuable life lesson you learned in 2009: It doesn't matter what happens, Jesus is coming and I'll have a new life in Him anyway!!!
